Welcome to Barrel Savings. These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of the Barrel Savings Money Box product through our app and related services. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

About Us

Barrel Savings (“we”, “our”, “us”) sells a physical savings product designed to help save cash in a secure and visual way, through our free offline savings app (Barrel Savings).
Products are sold to customers located in the Republic of Ireland through our mobile application and payment services provided by Stripe.

Product

Our product includes a physical money-saving box (“Barrel Savings Product”).

This product is designed to:
store physical cash savings,
remain sealed during use,and be opened by breaking or damaging the container when access to the contents is required.
Because products are intentionally breakable:

cosmetic variations may occur,

slight imperfections may exist,

and the product may become unusable after opening - unless you plan to repurpose your product.

Product images are provided for illustration purposes. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance as no two Barrels are the same. Differences in wood grain and colour may be noticed.

Eligibility to Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our app.
If you are under 18 years old, purchases must be made with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to:

refuse or cancel orders,

limit quantities,

or refuse service where fraudulent, suspicious, or abusive activity is suspected.

After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation email or receipt. This does not guarantee acceptance of the order.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated.

Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

We do not store complete payment card details on our systems.
You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information when placing an order.

Delivery

We currently deliver to residents of the Republic of Ireland.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by:

postal services,

incorrect delivery information,

weather events,

customs or transport disruptions,

or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Risk in the product passes to the customer upon delivery.

Returns and Refunds

Under Irish and EU consumer law, customers may have certain cancellation and refund rights for online purchases.

Cooling-Off Period

Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving the product, provided that:

the product has not been opened, broken, damaged, or used, and the product is returned in its original condition.

Non-Returnable Products

Because Barrel Savings Products are designed to be broken open:

products that have been opened, smashed, broken, damaged, or altered cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

Faulty or Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within a reasonable time after delivery with:

your order number,

a description of the issue,

and photographs where possible.

Where required under Irish consumer law, we will offer:

a replacement,

repair,

or refund.

Return Shipping

Unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Product Safety

Barrel Savings Product (Money Box) are breakable containers.

When opening the product:

broken edges or fragments may become sharp,

protective gloves and eye protection are recommended,

products should be opened carefully and responsibly.

Customers should:

keep broken pieces away from children and pets,

avoid unsafe methods of breaking the product,

and dispose of damaged materials safely.

We are not responsible for injury or damage caused by misuse, reckless handling, or failure to follow safety precautions.

Acceptable Use

Customers agree not to:

misuse the app or services,

attempt fraud

interfere with the operation of the app,

or use the product for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, product designs, logos, graphics, and related materials are owned by Barrel Savings unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our content without written permission.

Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Irish law. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses,

we are not liable for losses caused by misuse of the product,

and our total liability relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published through our website with a revised effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
