Barrel Savings is a personal productivity and budgeting tool. It does not provide financial advice, manage assets, or offer regulated financial services.

Overview

The Barrel Savings App is designed to work primarily offline to help users track their savings. We value your privacy and aim to be transparent about the minimal data processed to provide app functionality.

Data Collection and Use

While the app does not require a user account or collect personal information (such as name, email, or phone number), we use third-party services that may process technical identifiers:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM):

Used to send push notifications. Firebase uses an "Instance ID" to identify your device for delivery.

Firebase Remote Config:

Used to provide helpful content and updates to the app interface by processing basic device information.

Third-Party Services

Our app utilizes Google services (Firebase, Analytics). Google may use technical data as described in the How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps policy. We do not sell any data to third parties.

Offline Functionality

All savings data and notes entered by the user are stored locally on the device. We do not have access to your financial entries, notes, logs, or savings goals.

Your Choices

Notifications: You can opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Data Deletion: Since all user-generated data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will remove all your saved information from your device.
